With Capture Energy, Quick Ball, and Ultra Ball, it actually isn’t too difficult to get all five of the other Regis in play. Just watch out for Collapsed Stadium!

      Avery is a danger too.

Gloria is another option, since none of them have rule boxes or coming-into-play abilities. I’m also just noticing this ability works on Special Energy too, which means Aurora Energy can be accelerated to attack with any of the Regis at any moment.

Though now I’m wondering if Aurora Energy still costs a discard from hand if you accelerate it from the discard as the effect of an ability. I know Rainbow Energy wouldn’t have a drawback in that scenario, but it specifies its drawback is when you attach from hand. Aurora Energy doesn’t specify.

        per the compendium:

The discard cost on Aurora Energy only applies when attaching the card from your hand. If you attach it from somewhere else, you don’t have to discard a card from your hand.

Oh, good! Weird they wouldn’t specify that on the card itself, given there’s more than two decades of precedent of them doing so with Rainbow.

You can even get all the Regis out and get accelerating and attacking on turn 1 if you get the right draws. Really dastardly potential!

I am worried about this decks potential as time goes on, we’re losing a lot of key cards due to the next rotation and as the next ones come, Regigias itself will be less useful as VMAX becomes less and less prevalent.
