So, uh, where exactly were they going with this cycle of cards (desert shaman, juggler, relic hunter, seer, pokemon fan club, apricorn maker, desert shaman, fisherman, underground expedition.) It seems a bit of a waste to take all of these character designs and include them ONLY in an E-Reader game…

There are several other points in TCG history that have simlar arguments. Where the hell did Judge, Engineer from Engineer’s Adjustments, Sage from Sage’s Training, Seeker, or the Cheerleader from Cheerleader’s Cheer come from?

I have to admit I still use this over Scott, even though it’s strictly worse. I like the art in this one very much, and I also wondered where were they going with these sets’ setting…

I don’t care where they were going with these sets setting, the artworks from Expedition/Aquapolis/Skyridge in my opinion are the best ones the game ever had. Many of these artworks are not only great as artworks for Pokemon cards, I’d actually like prints of them to make my walls look more interesting.

Oracle is a really good card, although the artwork isn’t one of the best of the Expedition block.

That’s just because the artwork at the time was amazing. I mean, look at this card. It has some fantastic art. Then look at all of the other cards in this set and its sister sets. It gets outclassed by most of them. As far as artwork goes, its easily the best era.
