That the international TCG had adopted only one of the 3 Japanese Rocket’s Wobbuffet cards to exist (at least so far) seems apt, considering how much of the quintessentially Japanese sensibility of Wobbuffet, especially in the anime, has been completely lost in translation. In most cases, it’s unfortunately unavoidable – humor is always difficult to translate, because despite the common expression, a lot of comedy *isn’t* universal. Anyways, I digress. The other two cards in question are VS Rocket’s Wobbuffet¹, and the Wobbuffet which released in the Satoshi VS Team Rocket decks² in 2017.

I can’t believe the original Team Rocket set created the “Rocket’s Secret Machine” category but never created any interaction for it. There should have been attacks or powers that worked like Wobbuffet’s here.
