Would have been decent with Unown R and Unown Q.

inatspong just mentioned this card to me for combo with Unown R.

If Unown R is considered a “filler” card, then this would essentially double the number of fillers in your deck if you ran one of these for each Unown R in your deck!

That would make a deck faster, yes?

          Hahaha. Nice! Well great idea.
I’m not sure I’ll be using Unown R in my new build though. I’m working on a decklist draft now. Please check back on the forums by Monday. :)

It took me years to track down the alternate artwork for this card that was never translated into English.
It wasn’t even a promo or anything, it was just another uncommon card in the Japanese set, yet it almost never shows up on eBay or Yahoo Japan.

Interestingly the only two artworks that exist are the Kabuto puzzle, with a shadow of Raichu at a slight angle, and the Aerodactyl puzzle with a shadow of Pikachu head on.

So since there are three puzzles in the ruins of Alph that feature Fossil Pokemon, I’m willing to bet that they planned to have a third variant with featuring the Omanyte Puzzle with a shadow of a Pichu at the opposite angle of the Raichu.

It’s not just any Raichu – it’s probably Dark Raichu, as the card was finally included in the Japanese TCG by adding it to this set. Given there’s no Pikachu in the set, I have to say I think the other version of Ruin Wall is probably also showing Dark Raichu, it’s just that the shadow’s being cast from a different angle – the ears still look Raichu to me.

Would be kinda cool if this were a Stadium. Otherwise it’s decent for it’s format, terrible after the introduction of Great Ball.
