Poké-POWER ⇢ Type Shift
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may use this power. Salamence ex’s type is {R} until the end of your turn.
{W}{C}{C} → Claw Swipe : 60
{W}{W}{C}{C} → Dual Stream : 80
You may do 40 damage instead of 80 to the Defending Pokémon. If you do, this attack does 40 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)
· Pokémon-ex rule: When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

The similarity between this an Kyogre EX is just eerie. This probably looked,at a glance, like a powerful card at the time, though it would obviously be very slow and hard to wield given its status as an EX….but now they can print a generally more powerful pokemon as a basic (though obviously the lack of type shift, dual resistances, and a reasonable retreat cost hurt it.)
Twylis
Very neat implications with this ability. Normally type-shifting abilities only ever appear on dual-typed pokemon, which if applied here, means this Salamence is Water/Fire-type. Which means that Delta Species can potentially have totally different secondary typings, even if it doesn’t really matter since we can’t see them!
(y’know, except all the part-Metal ones, which Do show it)
Nos
This would be a bit cooler if Dual Stream just did 40 to another of your opponent’s Pokémon. You could either hit their second active for a reasonable 40 or snipe the bench.

Bulbapedia links for δ Delta Species Pokémon (that are in the “main” 16 EX expansions) are now fixed.
(We have a list of remaining Bulbapedia link errors, and we’ll be pushing out more fixes gradually.)
