In a comment on UNB Zeraora, I put together a list of other similar moves :)

From the lack of success I’ve seen on other card comment pages that have attempted to tie GX attacks to attacks from older cards, it seems like the majority of them were attempting to introduce something new to the landscape of attacks, attack names, vs being iterations of what came before (old attack, but this time a GX!)¹. However, Sceptile GX’s Jungle Heal GX could be an exception. Sceptile 𝒆𝒙’s Green Heal attack, with the shared function of removing counters conditional on {G} Energy being attached.
Nonetheless, in broader terms, unless you’re sure an GX attack is a throwback to an older one.. it seems like most of them just aren’t. Which is good! As much as catching TCG continuity nods can be a fun way to wake my mind up in the mornings, it needs to introduce new concepts and functionality now and again to keep things fresh. I think Generation VII did the best job of this so far, with a healthy mix of new attacks and concepts in the first half, and then featured a ton of nostalgia-fuelled fanservice starting with SM6b and continuing with several of the Tag Team Pokémon GX cards³.
¹ There are some very, very overt exceptions to this – for example, most of the the SM6b GX cards (Articuno GX, Electrode GX, Scizor GX, and Salamence GX all have GX attacks that iterate on attacks from their Pokémon-𝒆𝒙²), and
² Mr. Mime GX and Banette GX don’t quite fit the mold.
³ Incidentally, the GX attacks of TTGXes seem like they *do* merit more investigation into whether they feature continuity nods to older attacks, on top of what has already been attempted in the comments already. Hopefully some more convincing links can be made.
