It’s supposed to be 20 MORE damage, isn’t it?

       Yup, it should be :
“Flip 2 coins. This attack does 20 damage plus 20 more damage for each heads.”

Believe it or not, but I believe this misprint is on the Japanese Card as well. and it’s actually the + symbol next to the damage that’s the error not the attack effect.

Now I can’t read Japanese. But despite the fact that the Japanese Scizor’s attack also has “+” symbol next to the damage. The actual text for the attack has an “x” in it, not a “+”. And if you compare the Japanese text of the Double Claw attack to Furret’s Slam attack they’re identical, but if you compare it to a Japanese card with Quick Attack, which would have the same wording for a plus damage effect, the text is way different.

I think it is suppose to read “Flip 2 coins. This attack does 20 damage times the number of heads.”
Did Wizard ever issue an errata for this?

I don’t think it actually is. It should read “Flip 2 coins. This attack does 20 damage plus 20 more damage for each heads.” Hence there is a + for the attack damage and there should be an x in the attack text

I know this comment is two years old, but someone recently up-voted it so I got notified about that and saw your reply.

Anyways, out of curiosity I posted the Japanese card text to the Translator Subreddit, and got an exact translation.
It does in fact read “Flip two coins; does 20 damage plus 20 more damage for each heads”. So looks like you guys were correct.
That makes this card’s attack very cost effective for the time.

The black crest on Scizor’s thorax looks like an extension of its mouth and I can’t un-see that. It looks like its mouth is wide agape!
