I really want to use this card… Too bad all Scythers suck. Hopefully Scissor-EX/M Scissor-EX don’t suck.
HEZ
I know a guy who plays this, it’s not a bad card at all! Special Energy cards are everywhere and it’s a cheap, powerful attack that scales up as much as you want…
Mantidactyle
And Scyther (Platinum PL 130) which is a reprint from Jungle is good for the free retreat.

Turns out Scizor Prime is better in the 2012 Worlds format than people realized, too! There was an online event for that format back in February, and the winner was piloting a Scizor Prime/Vileplume UD deck. The idea is to stop your opponent from playing Pokémon Catcher, PlusPower, Eviolite and other helpful Items, while preventing your opponent from taking Knockouts by retreating damaged Pokémon for free with Darkrai EX DEX‘s Night Spear and healing them with Seeker, while preserving your Energy attachments with Shaymin UL. Scizor can do solid damage and makes life difficult for decks with lots of Special Energy, but you’ve also got Darkrai EX to resist Mewtwo EX NXD (Which this deck itself doesn’t run because it’s too squishy), Terrakion NVI to OHKO opposing Darkrai EX, and Shaymin EX NXD to finish off your opponent’s last Pokémon EX if they’re down to one prize card.

https://ptcgarchive.com/2012-decks/#scizor-vileplume Correction: this appears to be an archetype that already existed, and Jason Klaczynski and Jimmy Ballard both got top 32 with versions of it at 2012 U.S. Nationals.
My mistake. I’ve seen tfw create some wild decks, and I assumed this was one of them. He does seem to have made some changes to the list, though.

Aegislash EX!
AgFlame
Says attacked rather than attached in the attack text.

(Wait, I replied to the wrong comment.)

This card is the best Scizor ever produced. In the context of their respective eras, later Scizors from BW, XY, SM, and SWSH are underwhelming.

As much as I just glazed about this Scizor earlier in the comments section, there were previous Scizor cards that saw a lot more success back in the day. Jason Klaczynski won The Fan Appreciation Tournament, the last ever Wizards of the Coast Pokémon tournament, with a Scizor AQ/Furret AQ/Muk FO deck (Current list seen here). Scizor ex UF was also a strong card in the 2007 season (Being featured in three different decks) and in the popular Ruby and Sapphire through Power Keepers format, and Scizor MD was featured alongside Toxicroak MD and Electrode SW in a rogue deck that Tristan Robinson won the Juniors Division of the 2008 World Championships with.
Other Scizor cards that saw play include Scizor SF (which was featured in a budget deck from release until rotation), M Scizor EX, which was generally played as the main attacker of its own deck but which I’ve seen featured in a Garbodor GRI deck for the 2017 Worlds format, Scizor OBF, which has been featured as a tech attacker in a variety of decks (Especially Gholgengo ex, and Scizor ex TEF, a somewhat less popular tech in Gholgengo ex and Archaludon ex decks.
