Aside from the lovely art, the most obvious thing to say about this card is that it is simply outperformed by the Scyther (Dark Explorers DEX 4). The lesson to take home from this is that basics are allowed to be more powerful than they should be if their evolutions are not printed in-set. This is mainly a good thing: it allows designers to print a wider variety of “useful” basics.
