I dunno, I think placing 3 damage counters anywhere is more useful than putting 4 on an active EX. You could knock out a benched Tynamo, or set up another pokemon to be one-shot instead of 2HKO.

The attack isn’t anything too spectacular, but the seems like it would be annoying.
If you were to attach an Expert Belt to him in unlimited, would you take one prize, or none?

I think they’d take one prize, since the prize effect is from Expert Belt and not from Shedinja itself. I could be wrong though. Expert Belt says “1 more prize”, so I don’t know if you could take 1 more prize from none.

But prizes taken could be like retreat cost, where reducing it to zero keeps it at zero, regardless of how much you try to add.
