Speaking of low retreat costs, you know what I’d like to see? A Pokemon with a ‘negative’ retreat cost. IE, 0 Retreat, plus an ability that provides some added boon if the Pokemon retreats during a turn.

That’s pretty neat idea. I don’t think the Pokemon even needs to have 0 Retreat Cost. Just “If this Pokemon retreats … some bonus happens.” Or maybe give certain Pokemon with 0 Retreat a penalty for retreating.

Assuming || rarity:rare hp:30 || isn’t missing anyone, this is the first time a card with only 30 HP is a Rare that isn’t a baby Pokémon since all the way back in Gym Heroes, when WOTC pissed myriad people off by assigning Brock’s Zubat and Misty’s Goldeen as rare. This Shedinja, too, doesn’t have quite the correct rarity assigned to it in the EN edition – it was originally an Uncommon in XY6 Emerald Break.
