    Speaking of low retreat costs, you know what I’d like to see? A Pokemon with a ‘negative’ retreat cost. IE, 0 Retreat, plus an ability that provides some added boon if the Pokemon retreats during a turn.

      That’s pretty neat idea. I don’t think the Pokemon even needs to have 0 Retreat Cost. Just “If this Pokemon retreats … some bonus happens.” Or maybe give certain Pokemon with 0 Retreat a penalty for retreating.

        I could see a stadium that could let pokemon have free retreat but it places damage counters on them for using the stadium’s effect.
