Back when shiny Charizard was blue.

It’s definitely more of a lavender in person, in line with the GSC shiny. I was fortunate enough to pull one as a child and it’s only *slightly* scratchy from past me having literally zero regard for preservation :v

You can see it better here:

Paid 400$ for this (first edition) at a flea market. I’d say it’s a 7.5/10 in condition. Too bad I washed one of these in the washer in my pants pocket when I was four…

I wish I kept my old cards in better condition. My guinea pig chewed the corner of my otherwise mint celebi from neo revelation, so I decided I’d no longer display it in my binder. now it’s in even worse condition

Odd, as it’s at exactly £400 now for the highest price.

bought this one as a kid around 2008 for about 20 dollars at a card stand. Was a lot of money for me then but was a good investment haha. Didn’t even know its significance at the time just that it looked cool. I should prob have it graded its still in great shape.

It is funny how a card can be so expensive and valuable, and at the same time sucking a lot in game terms… 5 energies for the same damage of base set Charizard plus it needs two types of energies plus it may damage itself.. and without the Charizard’s Pokemon powered that at least allow it to be lowered by DCE…
