Imagine a later printing of Arceus:
Arceus. HP 120.
Stage 1 Pokemon.
Evolves from Silcoon.

  Wouldn’t work. Arceus would probably have to be a Stage two, because you can’t evolve a Stage One into a Stage One. I’m not 100% on this, but I’m pretty sure that’s the right ruling.

    Woops. Silcoon is so un-notable in game that it’s easy to forget that it is, in fact, an evolved pokemon xD
