Skarmory EX comes with the always-lamentable “[CC], [MMC]” energy requirements for its attacks. With Muscle Band, you could theoretically land a hard charm- proof combo of attacks that does 190 damage, killing every basic pokemon in existence other than an Aspertia-boosted Tornadus (Therian) EX or pokemon that innately nullify some forms of damage.
As it is,the awkward energy costs for its attacks essentialy cost it a turn of set-up time. I have to wonder if it would be “too good” if its attacks were [CC], [MCC]
The Buwxtator
It also pairs pretty well with Registeel-EX and LaserBank. Registeel’s triple laser distributes the damage counters, and Skarmory packs the follow-up punch… If you can retreat Registeel, that is.
