    Always baffled when zoomers claim “everyone thought Skarmory was a Gen 3 Pokémon because they didn’t know it existed”. Pokémania was still alive and well for Neo Genesis and I saw plenty of Skarmory cards on the playground even if I never saw one during my Gold playthrough. (Never mind there’s always been the anime, guides/branded merch telling you every single one of the 100 new Pokémon…)
