Ability ⇢ Counterattack
If this Pokémon is your Active Pokémon and is damaged by an opponent’s attack (even if this Pokémon is Knocked Out), put 4 damage counters on the Attacking Pokémon.
{C}{C}{C}{C} → Dynamic Swing : 100+
You may do 100 more damage. If you do, during your opponent’s next turn, this Pokémon takes 100 more damage from attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance).

The world’s laziest Pokémon. It moves to another spot when there’s no food left within its reach.

· Now being translated as Counterattack, this Slaking features the same Ability, はんげき, that PK Vigoroth had. In cases like this, I wonder if we’re seeing an old Pokémon that’s come back to the card game after taking some time off to evolve.
· This is the first card with an attack that has ダイナミック [𝐃𝐘𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐂] in its name¹. Other cards that feature Dynamic attacks are Raichu V, Drapion V, and CRZ Kyogre. You might note that they all feature drawbacks – Slaking’s Dynamic Swing means it takes extra damage during your opponent’s next turn, Raichu V‘s Dynamic Spark has to discard Energy to work, Drapion V‘s Dynamic Tail damages one of your own Pokémon, and Kyogre’s Dynamic Wave has to return Energy to the hand. Some of those are less detrimental than others, and I’d prefer things to be a bit more explicit before saying this is definitely intentional, but there does seem to be a theme of Dynamic attacks changing the situation for both players.
¹ Dynamic Punch’s original name is ばくれつパンチ [𝐁𝐀𝐊𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐒𝐔 𝐏𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐇] – Explosion/Exploding Punch – and cards featuring BAKURETSU attacks aren’t relevant here.
