Pokémon Power ⇢ Thick Skinned
Snorlax can’t become Asleep, Confused, Paralyzed, or Poisoned. This power stops working while Snorlax is already Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.
{C}{C}{C}{C} → Body Slam : 30
Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed.

Very lazy. Just eats and sleeps. As its rotund bulk builds, it becomes steadily more slothful.

I’ve been messing around on the Game Boy game again, this time with a Quad Mew (Carp Pop Promo) deck. This thing is the deck’s worst nightmare, as it literally cannot do anything to it. Here’s the card for reference: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Mew_%28GB_1%29. Note that Mew doesn’t actually do random damage, it just hits for 10, sometimes inflicting special conditions, sometimes healing 10 from itself. Occasionally, it hits for 20, but doesn’t seem to do anything else when it does.

The text of the Power actually says “This power stops working…” and not “This power can’t be used…” as transcribed here. It is the second of three revisions to the English text of Thick Skinned (Jungle Snorlax vs B2 Snorlax vs LC Snorlax).

Good catch! Fixed.
