It’s not really an error, but the word “one” is actually the number “1” in the picture.
In “[M] Sol Burst GX”:
The last sentence, “Then, shuffle your deck.” is omitted. I guess it’s redundant to include because everyone knows to shuffle their deck once they looked through it, unless an effect says otherwise.

I’m enjoying these high quality card images. It looks like they were extracted from Pokemon Trading Card Game Online (PTCG). Does anyone know if older versions of the PTCG had pre-HeartGold & SoulSilver card images in their files? It would be really nice to have the same quality for all cards in the game, however I appreciate how you managed to make them look consistent.

Typo + omission fixed for all Solgaleo-GXs. Thank you! The images were indeed extracted from PTCGO (by someone other than myself, however; I’m not privy to the extraction process but do know at least one other person that’s capable extraction so with research/experimentation you could probably figure it out). I doubt there are high-res images available pre-HGSS. It’s probably possible for TPCi to create them, but they have little incentive to do so since those cards are no longer printed and sold in stores. PTCGO I think was developed or was released during the HGSS-on format, hence why the images start there.

From what I could find on images of cardmarket offers for this card, not really surprisingly (tbh I have no idea if it’s against website rules to post an image of a product so I’m just gonna play it safe and ask you to believe me with no visual proof). Like most sm era cards, it has really deep texture, which especially helps the background. Honestly though, from the images I’ve seen, solgaleo still blends really bad with the background, which also isn’t that interesting even with the deep texture (in stark contrast to most sun and moon ultra and rainbow rares whose textures do make the backgrounds awesome)

Nice to see some Rainbow Rare love. I don’t go out LOOKING for Rainbow Rares, but sometimes a Rainbow Rare with an extra special set of texturing finds me, and I get excited.
Tapu Lele GX’s Rainbow Rare has a cool flower pattern, but I haven’t bought one at the moment because of the price. (Which, surprisingly, doesn’t seem to have changed that much recently.)
Last summer I saw a Thorton Rainbow Rare with a really cool computer board pattern and bought it on a whim. Don’t regret the purchase in the slightest. It’s a fine addition to my BRS-PRE Archaludon ex/Dialga VSTAR deck. (Yes, I love that deck enough to start building decks for that format already.)

Honestly, this is a great excuse to channel my love for rainbow rares. Unfortunately I am a very new collector (and on a rather limited budget) so I haven’t gotten my hands on any sm era rainbow rares but from images I can tell they are so awesome. Ultra rares from that era are great but they all have the same generic (but nice) background (with the exception of ultra beast which have their one generic background, also really nice). Rainbow rares are such great complimentary pieces since they are the same card, but with rainbow colors and unique backgrounds (comprised entirely of texture as well). I am definitely planning on getting either oricorio GX or kartana GX rainbow rare at some point because they are both dirt cheep and have absolutely awesome backgrounds (oricorio has an overlapping flower design and kartana has a weird checkered design). As for sword and shield era: while the texture is not as great, the backgrounds are still made of texture (awesome) and the glitter foil is genuinely gorgeous. Additionally, sword and shield is the era where UR supporters stared having colors that change in saturation based on viewing angle (which might be my single favorite visual gimmick in Pokemon, at least from the gimmicks my collection offers, with glitter foil a close second, especially on alt-art vmaxs) and rainbow rare supporters follow that trend too. I really love the heat wave background on kabu but honestly, having now seen Thornton I absolutely get it: these tech-y patterns are always my favorites (like on the new rotom ex from phantasmal flames, though that’s not the texture but rather the background art, although it does have a pretty cool texture as well). Maybe I yapped a bit too much…..

Just look up “Solgaleo GX Ultra Prism” in your search engine and browse the pictures. It’s the only Solgaleo GX in the set, and you’ll see photographs of the physical card with its texture on full display.
