These guys have got to be one of the worst supporters of the SwSh era right? It takes special effort to fall below the Cheren/draw 3 bar. Unless I’m missing some unique interaction?

Nope, this card is just legitimately not good. We were chatting at my LGS a few days ago about this card specifically (after I pulled it at the SIT prerelease), if you could change the wording on it to make it better, as a design exercise. Maybe change the draw 3 to a draw 4? The “ask your opponent to make a choice” kind of cards are always interesting from a skill perspective, but as-worded this one is really lacking…

Draw 4 would definitely be interesting. Or, instead of draw 3, another differently -named Trainer Card and your opponent chooses one to put in your hand? Anything’s better than this!
