Hidden within the tower is a line of normal type pokemon with broken dreams and crushed souls.
One must wonder what intense amount of anti-normal loathing could have spawned a hate card THIS hateful. At this rate ,you might as well have cards like
“Bottom of the Ocean: At the beginning of each player’s turn, that player puts a two damage counters on all fire type pokemon that he controls.”
There’s a reason why anti-single-type-hate stadium cards are as rare as they are

this would be nice against tornadus EX

Plus Unown that had the same effect.

Since Colorless wasn’t used as a weakness or resistance st the time, this could have been a great tech to deal with any colorless threats around at the time…. If there were any.

This card helped weaken Wigglytuff decks, though.

Wondering what the thematic justification is for this card’s effect. Sprout Tower is in the same town as the Flying gym too, which is represented by Colorless.

I was always a night player, so I associate Sprout Tower with being up to one’s armpits with Gastlies. Gastlies absolutely everywhere. Gastlies out the wazoo. Just plumb lousy with Gastlies. Probably a bad time and place to be a Normal-type specialist.

That’s what I always thought too. I realized it probably wasn’t it and tried looking into it, and came up empty-handed. My guess would be that the card’s suggesting that the Bellsprout in the tower have been training to overcome their Flying weakness, but it doesn’t translate very well to the TCG since there’s no Bellsprout printed with a {C} Weakness.
