This card’s artwork seems like it’s meant to be the dawn counterpart to DP Gastly’s day to DP Magnemite’s dusk.

I was looking at whether some of Kouki Saitou’s art in the Platinum and Arceus sets were secretly connecting pieces of larger artwork, and while I don’t think that’s quite it, it looks like he likes to set a lot of artwork in the same scenery for DP and DPt.

By way of example, DP Dustox, DP Carnivine, DP Burmy, POP7 Carnivine, and LA Shedinja all seem to be set in/around the same location, with the same mountains visible in the background (and/or mountain range, if they’re meant to be connecting art? I’m not sure¹); LA Lopunny and SW Arcanine appear to be somewhere nearby. Gligar is set in the same location, but in the springtime.

¹ Think less ‘connecting art’, and more art set in the same scene, like what he did with FST Meowth & FST Mawile & EVS Eldegoss. That’s why I led with the dawn/day/dusk thing, though the cards don’t seem to be in the *exact* same location.
