Steven’s Advice
Trainer › Supporter

Draw a number of cards up to the number of your opponent’s Pokémon in play.

If you have more than 7 cards (including this one) in your hand, you can’t play this card.

· Supporter rule: You can play only one Supporter card each turn. When you play this card, put it next to your Active Pokémon. When your turn ends, discard this card.

That’s one of the best straight draw cards I’ve ever seen. I’m guessing this was staple?

Steven’s Advice is an interesting alternative to Professor’s Research. You aren’t pitching resources into the discard pile, you probably can’t use consecutive Steven’s Advice unless you get hit by a Rocket’s Admin. (Ancestor of N and Iono), and it adds another layer of skill to bench management, since filling your bench early powers up your opponent’s Steven’s Advice, but not benching a Pokémon could mean not setting up your next attacker late in the game after getting hit with Rocket’s Admin.

This card is actually mistranslated. It should say “If you have 7 or more cards in your hand (Including this one), you can’t play this card.” The Power Keepers print of Steven’s Advice corrected that mistake.
