I think this card either needs some better trainers in the format or the right metagame to thrive. It’s a solid control strategy stabled on a decent body. I’m personally hoping this guy gets his day in the sun.

Like Unbroken Bonds Porygon-Z, Lugia VSTAR will make getting this into play much easier. Unlike Porygon-Z, however, this card has actually already seen at least some success for a few years now, as Strings hoped for above. It’s a core part of the Shock Lock archetype, supporting Burning Shadows Raichu by locking the opponent with continuous paralysis while Stoutland blocks the use of cards like Guzma that would otherwise break the lock.
