Theory: Mimikyu is Tangela with it’s Vines unraveled.

One time a Pikachu accidentally got wrapped around in Tangela fines. In it’s struggle, it cut the vines off, revealing Tangela’s true form. Tangela, really angry at Pikachu, donned a disguise to look like it’s foe so it could get in close and get it’s revenge!

In the description of Grass Knot, the effect says “(after applying effects to the the Retreat Cost).” instead of “(after applying effects to the Retreat Cost).”
