This attack has the same name and basically the same effect – base 40 damage as opposed to only 20, otherwise identical – as Karen’s TM01 from Pokémon VS. The attack shows up again on RG Charmeleon and EM Blaziken. (Mind you, save for the fire flavor, the attack is functionally identical to Rend, an attack that debuted on Giovanni’s Nidorino.)
