Warnock 2022
First appearance of the “Land Crush” move — but every subsequent version is just a vanilla damage-dealer with no drawbacks.
Squirchampion
This is actually the first appearance of グラウンドスラッシュ, an attack which also appears on [Groudon ✰](https://pkmncards.com/card/groudon-star-delta-species-ds-111/. Since グラウンドスラッシュ is obviously “Ground Slash”, there’s no doubt about it – the attack name on this card is mistranslated, and that’s why it’s unrelated to the other appearances.
Keep in mind that any time an attack’s effect appears to change entirely, that’s a prompt to check and see if the same holds up in the original language. Especially for the older cards, it’s more often the case than not that it won’t, and that’ll tell you what’s gone wrong.
