Well the unown tools like unown g and any tool returner like masquerain plb and mismagius lv x forms an infinite heal combo.
As does things like jumpluff drx, reuniclus and broken time space.
I always thought this card was so good back in the day. Giving your opponent at 30 hp gust of wind target is horrible

Yeah, I know you can do it like this, too, but if Tentacool could use its power right away you would just need 1 card in addition to Alakazam/Reuniclus instead of 3 or 4. Also, with Tentacool you could have actually used it in Base-on, breaking the whole format if combined with something like Chansey.

It’s presumably to cap how many damage counters you can magically vanish with the BS Alakazam+Tentacool combo, particularly once you have more than one copy of Tentacool in play.
