On a more serious note, the announcement that the mainline franchise game is being released stateside and in Japan simultaneously in October is going to put a lot of strain on the TCG localization team. Obviously they’re going to want to avoid releasing a Gen 5 set DURING GEN 6.
I can see this going three ways:
They’re going to have to release Spiral Force/Thunder Knuckle Megalo Cannon, and the (hypothetical) transitional BW10 set stateside pretty rapidly stateside. (BW8 releasing in April. BW9 releasing in June, BW10 releasing in august.)
Alternatively there could just be -no- BW10,with BW8 being released stateside in may and BW9 making it to the US in August.
Or, amusingly, the Japanese will have to get their -own- filler set along the lines of Emerging Powers, Call of Legends, and Power Keepers.
