Its charge is strong enough to break through a giant castle wall in one blow. This Pokémon is spoken of in legends.

Quad decks are probably going to be a thing for the rest of the game’s existence thanks to this guy. Although Durant technically did it first.
WilliamH.
I’m still a little lost on the Quad deck concept. Is this just any deck with 4 of the same Pokemon? So like, Yuka-san’s 2010 World Championship Jumpluff deck?
Curtis
I wouldn’t say Jumpluff qualifies. Too many other Pokemon in the deck, even if they are just draw. I’d define a Quad deck as something that runs 4 copies of a solo Pokemon and nothing more, or at most a single copy of something else.
WilliamH.
WHOA! There are decks like that?? Gosh, must be a handful of energy and a mountain of Trainers! How would something like that even work? I mean, even Mewtwo EX needs helper Pkmn. I’m going to Google “Quad Terrakion”.

It started with Curran Hill in VA States and it used Exp. Share to keep energy flowing.
WilliamH.
All my Exp. Share decks have been as good as any of my Klinkklang Steel builds: utterly useless.

I don’t think Durant really did it first, Rotom, Cobalion, those don’t work for Quad decks.
Curtis
Not every Durant uses Cobalion/Mewtwo/ any cleanup sweeper. I give Rotom a pass under my “single copy of something else” clause.
