Groups of this Pokémon migrating in search of water have been mistaken for “moving forests.”

2008 Torterra/Sceptile decks ran two copies of Diamond and Pearl Torterra, one copy of this Torterra, and one copy of the Lv.X. This Torterra was an efficient attacker, able to hit for 60 damage with one Energy (assuming Sceptile was in play) or two (assuming it wasn’t). The Diamond and Pearl Torterra could potentially heal off the bench damage later if you needed it to. Also, Frenzy Plant could knock out some Pokémon like Majestic Dawn Bronzong in a single hit.
I’ll feature more details about the 2008 Torterra deck under Diamond and Pearl Torterra if you want to read more. Here’s a video by Jay Hornung featuring his list for the deck.
