    I don’t recall if there’s ever been a set in which the same Pokemon has appeared *three* times (barring different forms of the same Pokemon, e.g. Castform or Deoxys)

      There are a few examples in the early EX era! Ruby & Sapphire has Makuhita and Ralts. EX Dragon has Corphish and Bagon. There are a probably a few others around this time…

    Himeno’s artwork here appears to be inspired by Midori Harada’s “if you’ve been asked to do artwork for a terrible Pokémon, just do a banger job with the background art instead” approach to the TCG.
