Is this card ever used? Funny that it’s written in a way that allows it to accelerate Vs but not Tag Team Pokemon.

There are better, non-coin-flippy ways for accelerating energies in the current meta:
{D} type has Dark Patch
{R} type has Magma Basin
{G} type has Gardenia’s Vigor*
{P} type has Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX* & “Crescent Glow” Cresselia*
{W} type has Melony
{F} type has Gutsy Pickaxe* & Bea*
{E} type has “Dynamotor” Flaaffy
{M} type has Metal Saucer
…and ASR Regigigas can work with any energy type!

* indicates that the card accelerates from your hand/deck, not the discard pile.
Many of the options I just listed are limited to acceleration onto –benched– Pokemon. If you want to risk the coin flip to accelerate onto your basic –active– Pokemon, then Turbo Patch may be the right card for your deck!

Two more options for {W) acceleration are Kyurem VMAX and FST Swampert. Both accelerate from the hand.
