Poké-BODY ⇢ Dark Aura
All Energy attached to Tyranitar is {D} Energy instead of its usual type.
{D}{D}{D}{D} → Stamp : 50+
Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 50 damage plus 10 more damage and does 10 damage to each of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon, if any. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)

Why not just make it’s attack cost CCCC?
It’s ALL LIES!
At least there aren’t any Dragon-Types that have Dragon Aura.

Following my comment on the Darkness Energy in this set, I can think of a reason they decided to make its attack cost {D}{D}{D}{D} and combine it with this Dark Aura Poké-Body. On the JP side of things, they hadn’t yet printed a Darkness Energy for the e-Card era*, and perhaps they wanted to tease the audience as to whether Darkness Energy would be printed as a Special Energy again, or get ‘demoted’ to a Basic Energy card.
* Pokémon VS had Darkness Energy, but VS was considered its own self-contained block.

If it weren’t for the body, it would have been impossible to use more than 2 a game at the time.

Boost Energy. Let’s do this!
Monferno
It’s like an older, less powerful and more derpy-looking artwork form of Hydreigon NVI.
Logan
Monferno, only think similar is type and pokebody, coolestman22, there are other pokemon such as garbodor who can make the pokebody useless.

This is one of my favorite cards in my collection. iirc the poké body was an attempt to try make an energy burn for every type to incentivize using multiple types. This was around the same time crystal Pokémon were also in the card pool.
