Odashima’s artwork is great. I think this design is much cooler than the previous artwork by Toyste Beach.

Any reason this card doesn’t have the protection against Special Conditions that Rare Fossil has? I assume the 10HP Rare Fossil has over this card is new toy syndrome favoritism for the Gen 8 Fossilmons, but you’d figure at least some of the old Mysterious Fossil-like protection clauses would return if we’re seeing them on another Fossil card.

Why does this Unidentified Fossil only have Shieldon & Cranidos listed as it’s possible evolutions?

Other fossils are depicted in the art, but I take it the only cards with prints actually able to evolve from them so far are Shieldon and Cranidos?
