Pokémon Power ⇢ [Quicken]
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to any of your Pokémon with Unown in its name during your opponent’s next turn. If you have more than 1 Unown Q in play, use only 1 [Quicken] each turn. This power can be used even if Unown Q is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.

It is believed that the variety of types of this Pokémon were created by evolutionary adaptation, as each possesses a different ability.

“you may only have up to 4 basic pokemon cards in your deck with Unown in their names” really says it all about this card. None of the unown are effective fighters. Even Unown W LA, which would only be printed more more than seven years later, wasn’t exactly powerful. A deck composed entirely of trainers/ unown that supported one another would not have been the best deck in the format..so why on earth did they put that imitation in place? Reall,y you should be able to have any number of unown letters in your deck, so long as you don’t keep any more than four of a single unown.

I’m pretty sure they changed the ruling on that, actually.
