This card feels like a throwback to Light Vaporeon, the only prior Eeveelution with a “shower” attack

The attacks aren’t that similar and the reason for the commonality in attack names is something I thought is pretty obvious – Vaporeon’s Japanese name is Showers (シャワーズ). In looking for an antecedent to this attack, which was originally HEAL Shower GX (ヒールシャワーGX), you’d probably have wanted to look up other attacks with ヒール in their name. From those results, Sceptile 𝒆𝒙’s Green Heal seems like a decent candidate – or at the very least a better candidate than Hypnoshower.
