OOOOOOh… Ok. I’m surprised that Sceptile would have problems w/ Groudon…Ariados AOR and Manectric-EX would probably help you more, as Ariados + Sceptile-EX do 230 combined against Hard Charm, so you just need that little bit of chip damage Manectric-EX can provide for [C] if you get it out before Groudon has Hard Charm. If they mistakenly go for Focus Sash, Ariados+Sceptile kills b/c Poison.

It’s not that Sceptile has problems with Groudon, it’s that I can’t find anything that can trade with Vespiquen/Flareon.

It’s really all about finding cheap, non-EX, basic/st1 attackers.
Noctowl BTH could also be good if you run a lot of trainers.
