It expels its internal steam from the arms on its back. It has enough power to blow away a mountain.

The funniest part is that its second attack is arguably WORSE than the original Dual Turbo Volcanion from nine years before! 100 damage for 3 Energy was only okay in 2016 because you had Volcanion EX’s Ability to boost that damage output, and because your deck was already designed around attaching 3 Fire Energy to a bunch of Fire type basics. Tacking on a fourth Energy wouldn’t have been worth the extra damage in 2016, and it certainly isn’t worth it today!
… although I AM seeing an alarming number of single-prize basics that still do 80-100 damage for 3 Energy.

I do wish they had made this card mechanically identical to the original so people could just randomly add a 2016 rare to their decks. We’ve sort of seen this happen with Celestial Storm Dunsparce, but because that card was a literal translation of the Japanese 2003 Dunsparce and the actual Sandstorm print was a botched translation… Americans couldn’t bust out their Sandstorm Dunsparce. :( In a similar vein, you can take an Evolutions Electabuzz to a Base-Fossil or Prop 15/3 event, but you can’t take a Base Set Electabuzz to a 2016 or 2017 event (Not that you’d want to), because the Metal weakness is significant in the modern era but irrelevant in eras before the Metal type existed.
