That’d be any cards that could prevent a knock out. If a V is damaged enough to be knocked out and give up a prize, you could use Volo to pick it up. It’s not blatant healing like a Potion but it serves the same purpose.

Volo feels a little less like “healing” and more like knock out prevention. You don’t get the card back directly (it’s discarded) but something like Lumineon or Crobat isn’t going to be useful for you after playing it, so it’s better off in the discard and giving you bench space for something more useful.
It’s honestly a pretty cool bit of card design and I think it’s flavorful as well. A good sign of growing as a player means knowing when to include a card like this vs when to include a card that directly heals.
