Somehow never noticed til now that this card is called VS Seeker rather than Vs Seeker or Vs. Seeker. Apparently in FRLG and Emerald (the games, not the sets) it was called the VS Seeker, which is the original FRLG card set printing pulled from, but it got renamed to Vs. Seeker in DP (the games, which was my first exposure to it). The cards kept the FRLG spelling the entire time since then though, since otherwise they’d need to deal with erratas and whatnot clarifying they’re the same card despite the different name. And I’ve apparently just been hallucinating it as the DP spelling for years!

Strictly better than Crossceiver, but I guess in expanded you could play four of this AND four of Crossceiver if you’re super eager to keep getting supporters out of the discard pile haha

Well, Crossceiver also gives you the option of putting any Pokemon from your discard pile into your hand — it’s the closest thing to Rescue Stretcher in the current format. So it’s not *strictly* worse — but on balance, I agree VS Seeker is better.
