Wailord is so damn fat

My first “competitive” game of Pokemon was against a Wailord ex deck. My deck wasn’t even in format. I got pwned.

Colin Moll got like top 8 at Worlds in 2004, losing to Yamato I think. He used it with Bellossom HL if I remember correctly.

Why no love for Wailord? XD Super Deep Dive combined with spamming potions would be incredibly annoying to face, I’d imagine.

200 HP is still the max after all these years =D

I remember getting this card! I thought it was fake due to how much HP it had.

Always thought this card was amazing – not only is it done in the pretty ex style but it perfectly captures the “giant floating in the dark nothingness” experience. Takes me to when I first encountered an oceanic manta, having 20m visibility, hearing the whales calling from out of sight and this thing 5x the size of me silently glides past… amazing :)
Long and short I like diving and this card I guess
