By usual TCG logic, this Wartortle evolves into the only Blastoise card in this set – namely, Blastoise ex – but other than that, everything about this card and Squirtle 83 point towards it actually evolving into POP3 Blastoise; that is, all 3 are illustrated by Arita, and all 3 share the Smash Turn attack. (This line is the collective debut of the Smash Turn attack in the TCG, which is semi-recurring into Gen 8 and likely beyond.)
