I wonder if I’m reaching here, but perhaps this card is why we only got two Basic Grass type ex cards. I could imagine this card being broken with access to something better than Scyther ex or Celebi ex

Every evolved Pokémon in EX Ruby & Sapphire had a Pokémon they can evolve from who had artwork done by the same artist, with a single card as an exception – there was no Midori Harada-illustrated Wurmple for the Midori Harada-illustrated Cascoon to evolve from. On the flip side, this Midori Harada-illustrated Wurmple is completely alone in EX Dragon, with nothing to evolve into.
