The strategy between the Body and attack are pretty contradictory. Poisoning your opponent’s Active coming into your turn is nice, but if you use its attack you are getting rid of the Poison. . .
That being said, Beautifly and Dustox have a pretty good selection of Wurmples to choose from. This one has a gusting attack, the Deoxys one has Ascension, the Dragon one has a Call for Family attack, and the RS one can search out its evolutions.
Shame that the unevolved Basics we get these days are so bland and useless. I mean, they were rarely anything special before but they were at least more interesting than something with [C] for 10 and [CC] for 20 as its attacks. The only two notable unevolved basics since BW are Zorua DRX and Munna BCR. I wouldn’t really count the Night Marchers because they are rarely played with their evolutions and have little synergy with them (I also don’t think a turn one 180 is good for the game).
