Unlike the very similar Energy Control attack of the Promo/Vending 00 Mewtwo, this card’s Energy Cycle is not limited to Basic energy.
This meant you could move, oh say, a Darkness Energy off your Opponent’s Sneasel and unto their benched Cleffa. Weaken the Sneasel and KO the Cleffa on your opponents next turn.

Kadabra, Dark Golduck, and Xatu all have the same Super Psy attack, with the same energy cost and damage. Based on “Pidgeotto the master one’s” calculations for Hitmonchan, PPC should deal 40 damage, but instead, it’s an even stronger attack that deals 50 damage. Xatu stands out because it has the highest HP and the lowest retreat cost among the three.

Another nice finding! Super Psy, as bite, is one of the attacks that are undercoated. By the neo sets they already perceived they need to buff a bit the evolved monsters, by making their attacks do more for the same cost (the Beedrill from this set does triple poison plus 10 damage by the same cost, G, as base set Weedle and many other basic pokemon do only normal poison)
