Legends say it can share eternal life. It slept for a thousand years in the form of a tree before its revival.

I love this art, it’s reminiscent of the Pokémon X box art. It’s a shame it’s not a holo. I’m not sure how I feel about the recent trend of legendaries featuring on common and uncommon cards, it’s nice that it’s easier for kids to get them but it also kind of makes them lose their mystique.

Since the interational rarities changed at the beginning of the Scarlet & Violet era, Legendary and Mythical Pokémon being on common and uncommon cards is going to be more prevalent. Since the beginning of the Black & White era, Japan hasn’t had non-holo rare cards, whereas we still had them up until the end of the Sword & Shield era, so cards with a Japanese uncommon rarity were often bumped up to non-holo rare status internationally. We no longer have non-holo rare cards, and our rarities now align with those in Japan, which means that cards like this one are being printed with their original rarity – or, in this specific card’s case (this was a non-holo card in a deck with no rarities), as an uncommon card as opposed to a non-holo rare card.
I agree that Legendary and Mythical Pokémon being “rare” in the card game is thematically nice, though. Just figured I’d throw out a little history lesson there.

I agree.
