I would argue the XY Yveltal is the stronger card, even after power creep. Oblivion Wing is meant to provide early-game energy acceleration alongside cost-effective damage, and costing DCC undermines that.

Yes. Also, Muscle Band was printed alongside Yveltal XY, so it was pretty reasonable to have a 1-cost attack that did 50 + accelerate Energy on your very first attack!
