Poké-POWER ⇢ Legendary Ascent
Once during your turn, when you put Zapdos ex from your hand onto your Bench, you may switch 1 of your Active Pokémon with Zapdos ex. If you do, you may also move any number of basic {L} Energy cards attached to your Pokémon to Zapdos ex.
{L}{L}{C} → Electron Crush : 50+
You may discard an Energy card attached to Zapdos ex. If you do, this attack does 50 damage plus 20 more damage.
· Pokémon-ex rule: When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

These were a decent cycle of cards. The best way to use this one was with itself just keeping a constant cycle of them coming then scooping up the damaged ones off the bench. 70 off a Basic was really aggressive then.
A good way to look at them now is as a Switch you can search for with Collector etc. I need the Moltres ex from this set for my Heatran Lv.X deck to rescue him out of the active spot once it’s levelled up.

Lv.X can level up?

Benjamin Poke Battler
kinda an ugly card in my opinion.
Strč prst skrz krk
This was the first Zapdos card that did NOT have an attack capable of inflicting damage to itself.
Every single Zapdos card in Gens 1 and 2 had a self-inflicting-damage move and could knock itself out!
