This Pokémon has complete control over electricity. There are tales of Zapdos nesting in the dark depths of pitch-black thunderclouds.

I wonder if this is the same power plant featured in the CEC Power Plant stadium card? :)

The world may never know. But in exciting news, this ability stacks with Regidrago VMAX!
4 Regidragos on the bench (lol) + 1 Zapdos = 130 extra damage when your basic {L} type attacks…

I started playing Pokémon Go shortly after this set came out.
PS If you are not team yellow I will take your gym from you, and if you think that’s as far as it goes you’re in for a surprise because after I take your gym from you, I will then take your girlfriend from you, your friends from you, even your family… do you have a dog? I’ll even take your dog from you. He will be my best friend, and he will completely forget you ever existed. I will take everything from you until you are curled up into a ball on the ground, begging for it to stop – but it will not stop, because I am team yellow and you are not, and since picking this game up it has become my sworn mission to reduce anyone who is not on team yellow to absolutely nothing. Or there’s this thing in the shop where if you’re not team yellow you can become team yellow? It’s only like 200 coins so it’s honestly your choice but listen anyways this is pretty strong cross-promotion I’m surprised they didn’t do this sooner I am really glad I got into Pokémon Go let’s go team yellow :)

I just realized this ability even boosts Rapid Strike Kecleon when she’s cosplaying as a {L} type

I was planning this comment for another card, but it fits better here;
There’s been something downright weird going on with the Generation 1 legendary birds and their resistances
· Out of sync with its other appearances in Gen 7, and out of sync with the other two, CES Articuno GX had no Resistance. This could be because it’s a spiritual reprint/retrain of EX FRLG Articuno 𝒆𝒙 (a card from an era where they had no Resistance), but other retrains don’t necessarily put faithfulness to the era they’re “adopting” over accuracy to SM.
· Zapdos gets its {F} Weakness back in VIV.
· G.Articuno and G.Moltres have {F} Resistances in CRE, but G.Zapdos has no Resistance. They don’t seem to be wild about a Pokémon having a Weakness or Resistance to the same type as it is, so that’s somewhat understandable (G.Zapdos is {F}).
· Not a legendary bird, but why I’m bringing this up will become apparent; Flying Pikachu V and VMAX are {L} cards that have {L} Weakness and {F} Resistance.
· BRS Moltres has no Weakness. Not a {F} type so the G.Zapdos scenario isn’t relevant, and it’s at odds with VIV Zapdos.
· Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres across the board have lost their {F} Resistance in PGO. Notably, Zapdos is actually weak to {F}, in what is a first for the series. This does, however, bring Zapdos in line with other {L} types of the era.
While it seems like Flying Pikachu VMAX got to be a special case and be weak to {L} despite being an {L} type, and resist {F} despite most other {L} types of the SWSH era being weak to {F}, Zapdos looks like it’s been brought to heel and ‘demoted’, and they necessary had to demote Articuno and Moltres alongside. I’d also expect any future prints of the G.birds to lose their {F} Resistance, since all 3 of them can’t share it. (That two of them got to keep it at all is just ‘debut generation favoritism’.)
