The third character to get a new card with “resolve” added to the end. While I prefer when the name of a supporter card adds some information on how that character is supporting, I wish they would vary it up a little lol

My guess is that it’s an imperfect translation of a Japanese word that’s trying to capture a concept that we don’t -quite- have in English. Maybe something like “Determination?” Sort of like how Mewtwo & Mew GX‘s ability, “Perfection,” is probably the same word in the Japanese recent card set “Skyscraping Perfection.” My guess is it’s close to the English concept of “wholeness,” “completeness,” “finality,” but can’t -quite- be captured with the language barrier.

You have a point here.
The “Resolve” in the Japanese cards are three different words:
Steven’s Resolve: ダイゴの決断 (Daigo no ketsudan)
N’s Resolve: Nの覚悟 (N no kakugo)
Zinnia’s Resolve: ヒガナの決意 (Higana no ketsui)
My Japanese skills are scarce, but I would translate to my first language , Portuguese, as decision, preparing and determination.

Regarding to the Perfection word in Mewtwo & Mew GX’s ability and Skyscraping Perfection set, it is really the same word, as you said (パーフェクト).
